Leopard Print and Air Max 97 "Gold Bullet"

Leopard print is one of those prints that will never go out of style. It can be categorized as a quintessential staple in any woman’s closet.

It can be mixed with other prints or other contrasting solid colors. It’s certainly a print you can wear year-round to add a little razzle dazzle. I like to keep my wardrobe lowkey nowadays but leopard print is one of those prints that I’m okay with wearing. As a fellow curvy Latina, I want to accentuate my waist while avoiding looking “too much” or look like I’m wearing a plastic bag. That’s why wrap dresses are my favorite dresses to wear. It’s a curvy girl’s best friend. The way it makes you look snatched while still providing comfort with its loose nature is really all the comfort I need to feel confident throughout the day. That’s why when I saw a leopard print wrap dress caught my eye because it was the perfect balance of an eye-catching print while still making me feel good. That’s the goal right there: comfort and style.

My whole life, I spent wearing clothes that was trendy but it was always a trap. It was never comfortable. It either shifted up, loose around the waist, way too tight or just made me feel insecure. It took me a while to get out that trap of following trends and went with my own gut feeling. Paired with my favorite sneakers, Air Max 97 “Gold Bullet”, I thought it was the perfect match. With the same color tones and the hint of gold and red really paired well with the leopard print wrap dress.

To add the illusion of an even more snatched waist, I added a black waist bag. I love this little bag since it’s big enough to carry my essentials (keys, lip gloss, ID, cash) while still being small enough to use for any occasion and staying hands-free.
