Green and Cream Bedroom Inspiration

Following the stay at home order in Miami, I’ve been spending a lot of time in my room and I’ve realized the importance of having a room that feels like it’s an extension of my personality.

Because of this weird time we are in, it got me thinking about redoing my room. I’ve always wanted my room to feel like a peaceful sanctuary where I feel zen as soon as I walk in. But being the indecisive Gemini sun sign that I am, I can be very indecisive as to what decor I would like to commit to. Me and commitment aren’t exactly familiar with each other. One day I will want modern and minimal and the next day, I will want farmhouse and cozy.

The only remedy to this was to create a Pinterest board and sit with it for some time to see if I still feel the same about it when I open up the board again. So far, surprisingly, neutral, subdued colors have been evoking the feeling want to feel in my room. Greens, creams, whites, and light gray have been making me thinking about what my room would look like with that color palette. Want to know the funny thing? I’m not even a big fan of green. It’s grown on me though. I love a nice Hunter Green with brass accents. See below for some of the color palettes I’ve been into:

I used to be a person that once upon a time loved the sterile ultra modern look but now I’m glad I am no longer on that wave. Now, I want a room that feels “lived in”, cozy, peaceful but at the same time inspires my creativity.

Here are some home decor ideas I’ve been inspired by:
